Director of Food Services Essential Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned General a.
Assists in washing tables before starting food preparation.
b.
Assists in the preparation of any food as directed by the Food Services Manager.
c.
Assists in transferring food to the serving counter as directed by the Food Services Manager.
d.
Assists in serving food as directed by the Food Services Manager.
e.
Assists in cleaning work areas, including the following:
Table tops, legs, sides, and legs Pan shelves Stack ovens Ranges (tops, back, drip pans) daily Serving counter Dessert refrigerator The outside of the stainless steel freezers f.
Takes a turn with other food service employees to clean the walk-in refrigerator once per week g.
Assists in sweeping the floor at the end of the day.

Assists in preparing food for the next day as directed by the Food Services Manager.
i.
Performs other duties as directed by the Food Services Manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
The ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
A working knowledge of quantity food preparation, sanitation principals, menu planning, inventory control, record keeping, and production schedules.
A previous experience in food service.
The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and the school community.
The ability to speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communication.
The ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
