High School Diploma or GED / valid driver's license IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:
Director of Building Facilities EVALUATED BY:
Director of Building Facilities SUMMARY To maintain all school grounds in a condition of operating excellence so that full use of them may be made at all times.
Essential Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned a.
Maintains all grounds equipment, setting up yearly service schedules.
b.
Maintains inventory records of all supplies and equipment.
c.
Makes recommendations to insure grounds meet all OSHA standards.
d.
Orders all supplies needed for ground maintenance.
e.
Is available for emergency calls and consultation f.
Secures and instructs all part-time help.
g.
Performs general labor tasks required for grounds upkeep.
h.
Is responsible for snow removal.
i.
Picks up and delivers school mail.
j.
Performs all duties as determined / assigned by the Facilities Director.
k.
Mowing as assigned by the Facilities Director.
l.
Assists all building custodians to keep building grounds mowed and weed free.
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
Supervises custodial employees when assigned to grounds keeping tasks.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
